Sigils of Elohim is a free mini-game prelude to Croteam’s upcoming first-person puzzler The Talos Principle that challenges players to solve dozens of formidable sigil puzzles under the watchful eye of Elohim. Subjects are tasked by the ominous paternal guide of The Talos Principle with deciphering a series of puzzle sets by rotating and placing the sigil shapes within the board. Doing so proves your worth to Elohim and unlocks helpful items and relics that can then be used within the upcoming The Talos Principle to gain an advantage. The first set of puzzles is available now to contemplate with the free download of Sigils of Elohim, with two more puzzle set updates from developer Croteam leading up to The Talos Principle later this year.
The Talos Principle is a philosophical first-person puzzle game from Croteam, the creators of the Serious Sam series, and written by Tom Jubert (FTL, The Swapper) and Jonas Kyratzes (Infinite Ocean). Assume the role of a sentient artificial intelligence placed within a simulation of humanity’s greatest ruins and linked together through an arcane cathedral. Players are tasked with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles woven into a metaphysical parable about intelligence and meaning in an inevitably doomed world.
