Londres, Reino Unido – 2 de noviembre de 2022 – SEGA y Sports Interactive han revelado hoy que la versión para PlayStation 5 de Football Manager™ 2023 Console no podrán debutar finalmente el 8 de noviembre, como estaba previsto inicialmente, debido a complicaciones imprevistas que han surgido durante el proceso final de la versión del juego.
Miles Jacobson, director de estudio de Sports Interactive, ha declarado: «Estamos desolados por este desenlace. Hemos trabajado incansablemente con nuestros socios durante varias semanas para intentar solucionarlo. Ha sido especialmente difícil tomar la decisión de retrasarlo, ya que supone frenar el lanzamiento de un gran juego en el que han trabajado incesantemente varias personas con muchísimo talento dentro de SI y durante bastante tiempo. Seguiremos haciendo todo lo posible para que este juego llegue a las manos de los jugadores de PS5 tan pronto como podamos».
SEGA y Sports Interactive informarán más sobre este asunto lo antes posible. Los clientes que hayan realizado la precompra a través de la tienda digital de PSN recibirán el reembolso correspondiente de acuerdo con la política de la plataforma. Todos los demás juegos de la serie FM23 mantienen su lanzamiento el 8 de noviembre.
