Winner of BAFTA’s Young Game Designer’s Award and BAFTA Breakthrough Brit, developer Dan Pearce has joined forces with Indie publisher Mastertronic to announce the debut of 10 Second Ninja coming soon on PC and Mac.10 Second Ninja is a blisteringly fast 2D action puzzle game. You are the world’s first Ninja and you are awesome. Nazi robots from space are trying to take over the world and you are tasked with eliminating all menacing mechanical enemies in each stage in 10 seconds or less.
How hard can it be?
Failure means you have to start again. No big deal but the fate of the world lies in your hands. With Robot Hitler out to get you the pressure is on! Blitz through 40 levels using your wits and agility whilst trying to bag all 120 stars in the process. Your ultimate goal is to achieve the coveted three-star rating in each level and top the global leaderboards. Oh, and to save the world from these evil caricatures.
Ten seconds. That’s all you need. Enough time to save the world from robot Nazis. And make a cup of tea. And develop your platforming skills whilst throwing random shapes with shurikens, for added drama. Because you are a Ninja and ninjas are awesome.
Dan Pearce, GameDesignDan says , “I’m really excited to finally get this game out. It’s been the game that taught me how to make games, and it’s been a pretty long process. It’s nice to finally be in a place where I feel confident in the game, and I genuinely feel in my heart of hearts that it’s a good time. 10 Second Ninja couldn’t have got to this stage without Mastertronic, who’ve done an amazing job at helping me wrap this game up. I can’t wait for people to get their hands on it and start making me feel bad on my own leaderboards.”
Andy Payne, CEO of Mastertronic added, ‘It really is fabulous to work with such talented games developers as Dan. We see publishing as both a service and a friendship. I would like to think Dan chose to work with us because he could see that we could help him get his game out and in the hands of millions of gamers.’
10 Second Ninja will launch on March 5th through Steam and Get Games.
