With Christmas just around the corner, Sonic has been hard at work updating his latest mobile game, Sonic Dash 2: Sonic Boom, for the holiday season. From today, fans around the world will have new reasons to dash through Christmas alongside the fastest hedgehog ever.
Released in early October and already downloaded more than 8 million times and counting, Sonic Dash 2 has been jam-packed with new additions on both iOS and Android, including the following:
- Beginning today, fans can discover the addition of a brand new environment and, for a limited time, can play as one of the most popular characters in the Sonic universe, Shadow the Hedgehog, for free! Players that complete the challenge will keep him on their team after the event is over.
- Just nine days later, from the 19th of December, fans will also be able to battle the evil Dr. Eggman in the new Boss Battle event.
In keeping with the seasonal spirit, the game has been decked out for Christmas with hats and plenty of snow, to get players in the mood for a peaceful holiday break.
