    Com2uS’ Summoners War Meets the Popular Anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba!

    Five Demon Slayer characters, Hashira Training, Minigames, and more are added to the game. Participate in five celebratory events to earn rewards and exclusive items! –

    9th January, 2025 – Com2uS (CEO: Jae Kwan Nam) has released a collaboration update for Summoners War: Sky Arena (hereinafter Summoners War), featuring the globally popular anime Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

     

    The update introduces five Demon Slayer collaboration characters, including Tanjiro Kamado, the protagonist who joins the Demon Slayer Corps to save his demon-turned sister. Players can also summon Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima, some of the most iconic characters from the anime.

    The new Demon Slayer Collab Building brings a variety of content, including Minigames, Hashira Training. Additionally, the Check-In Rewards and Demon Slayer Corps Quests allow players to earn more rewards simply by participating in the event.

    In Minigames, players can take part in activities such as Sprint Training, Obstacle Training, and Water Dash Training using the collaboration characters. The rules for these games change weekly during the event, offering fresh challenges and engaging gameplay. In Hashira training, players can choose collaborative characters to target stages and earn valuable rewards. 

    Collaboration characters also make an appearance as rivals in battles against Master X, and players can enjoy 10 Demon Slayer-themed emojis for chat during the collaboration.

    A video highlights is also available with the five characters from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba anime—Tanjiro Kamado, Nezuko Kamado, Zenitsu Agatsuma, Inosuke Hashibira, and Gyomei Himejima—as collaboration-exclusive characters. Each character’s skills are creatively adapted with attribute-specific effects, offering a visual treat for fans.

    Five celebratory events are live, providing players with opportunities to earn collaboration characters and exclusive rewards. The events include: Nat 5 Stone Hashira Gyomei Himejima Giveaway Event; Collab Special! Elite Upgrade Shop Event, offering a Demon Slayer Scroll; Demon Slayer Skill Lab Event, where players can level up skills, evolve, and power up collaboration characters; and Minigame Play Event. These events run until March 9, and a Bonus Mystical Scroll Event, offering additional Mystical Scrolls, is available until January 26.

    About Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba

    Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication. The animation production is by ufotable.

    The story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family is killed by a demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps to turn his younger sister Nezuko back into a human after she is transformed into a demon. In April 2019, the TV anime series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba first premiered with the Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc, followed by the release of the feature film Mugen Train in October 2020, and the TV series Mugen Train Arc and Entertainment District Arc from 2021 through 2022.

    Starting in February 2023, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Swordsmith Village- World Tour kicked off, followed by the TV adaptation of the Swordsmith Village Arc airing and streaming in April. In February 2024, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba -To the Hashira Training- was released in movie theaters worldwide featuring a special theatrical screening in over 145 countries and regions – surpassing the previous year’s release. The TV series Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc was broadcast and streamed online in May.

    The production of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is confirmed to arrive in movie theatres as a trilogy.

    The series has captivated audiences worldwide with its tragic tale of humans and demons, riveting sword fights, charming characters, and comical scenes.
