Former Blizzard CCO Rob Pardo to Tour Global Unity Developer Community as a Creative Advisor

Through its official blog, Unity have revealed that they have partnered with celebrated game designer Rob Pardo, former Chief Creative Officer at Blizzard Entertainment, to tour the globe and visit members of Unity’s developer community as a Creative Advisor. Pardo will visit developers in North America, Europe, and Asia to discuss creative process, game design, industry trends, and keys to making successful games. In addition to visiting individual studios, Pardo will also make appearances at select local Unity community developer groups to share observations and discuss the industry.
Rob Pardo, one of the videogame industry’s most respected and influential voices, worked at Blizzard Entertainment for 17 years. There he played an integral part in the creation and upkeep of some of the world’s most famous and beloved gaming franchises. His work includes credits as Lead Designer on many of Blizzard’s biggest, most successful, and critically acclaimed titles such as World of Warcraft, StarCraft: Brood War, and Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos.
