16th June, Brighton, UK – Independent developer Brightrock Games, and new publishing label CULT Games, have today revealed that the eccentric sci-fi hospital management title Galacticare will be playable by the public for the first time as part of Steam Next Fest during June 19th to 26th. Head over to the Steam page to wishlist and get ready to play!
In the demo, you will assume your role as the Director of a fledgling space hospital in an absurd and diverse universe. Meet a colourful cast of characters across two story-driven campaign levels as you guide your hospital to success.
At the behest of Galacticare’s CEO and chief technologist Kora Orion, establish your first hospital in orbit around Earth.

Key features:
- BUILD YOUR HOSPITAL – Design, furnish, and upgrade your hospital while you manage an onslaught of horrendously diseased patients.
- GATHER YOUR CREW – Take your choice of consultants with you between scenarios, developing their skills and learning more about their personal histories.

ABOUT BRIGHTROCK GAMES
Brightrock Games is a British independent game studio based in Brighton, UK, with a multinational core team of 15 people. Initially a small gathering of modders, enthusiasts and – most of all – gamers, the group first rallied under the banner of Subterranean Games, setting their sights on reviving genres that AAA publishers have long neglected. United in a shared passion for the oft-overlooked dungeon management genre, Subterranean Games released War for the Overworld on PC, Mac and Linux in April 2015. With this critically acclaimed and successful game under their belt, the company name was updated to Brightrock Games to better reflect the team’s broadening horizons. Brightrock Games’ goal is to create genre-twisting strategy management games that tell engaging stories and push the medium forwards.
