Synopsis
Gokurakugai – the name of a glamorous district with a dark flipside. Tao and Alma work here as ‘troubleshooters’ and take care of any problem, no matter how dubious, for the right price. But in reality, they earn their money from a shady organisation that hunts grotesque monsters. Hardly anyone knows where these monsters come from and why they are so obsessed with human flesh …
About Gokurakugai
Published first as a short story in Jump Square from Shueisha, the series starts in the same magazine from July 2022. With 4 volumes already published in Japan, Gokurakugai has been a great success because each volume is in the TOP 10 of the best manga sales, pretty similar to Chainsaw Man or Dandadan.
Gokurakugai is the first series from Yuto Sano. Previously, he published many short stories and he was assistant of Sho Aimoto on Kemono Jihen and Hikaru Uesugi on Deadpool: Samurai.
