BLUE LOCK 2nd Season will premiere on Saturday, October 5 at 9:00 a.m. PT / 6:00 PM CEST exclusively on Crunchyroll. The series will be available in Japanese with subtitles.
A new trailer for the highly anticipated return of the Second Season has been revealed, introducing new, fiery and unhinged opponents on the field.
Crunchyroll also revealed a Season One recap for those who need a refresher or for those just getting started with the BLUE LOCK anime series. The Second Season will be available to stream worldwide on Crunchyroll, except Japan and parts of Asia – the series will be available in India and Southeast Asia; new episodes will roll out weekly.
Produced by Kodansha, Bandai Namco Filmworks, and Crunchyroll, the intense second season follows the top players of the Blue Lock Academy as they battle to determine the starting lineup for the match against the Japan U-20 National Team.

Japan’s desire for World Cup glory leads the Japanese Football Association to launch a new rigorous training program to find the national team’s next striker. After making it this far, 35 players stand, but now the Blue Lock program itself faces elimination from Japan’s very own U-20 National Team. Vicious rivals will have to team up to defeat the national youth team if any of them want a shot at the striker position. Can they put aside their egos long enough to win together, or will they lose divided?
