First Facebook game from fledgling studio oOki nominated for prestigious award alongside Criminal Case and more.
Lyon, France – 2 december 2013 Squawk! Feathers are flying with excitement at oOki HQ with the news that the independent studio’s first game, Penguins Vs Parrots, has been nominated as Best Web and Social Game at the prestigious Game Paris Awards taking place this December 4th.
Developed in HTML5 and released earlier this year, Penguins Vs Parrots is a free to play Facebook game offering an irresistible mix of feathery charm, match 3 gameplay and chess-style strategy. Play solo or against friends and make the feathers fly!
The other games nominated in the category are Criminal Case (Pretty Simple), Renaissance Kingdoms (Celsius Online), and Gomago (Fantasy Factories).
The winners in each of the 10 categories will be announced at a special ceremony on Wednesday 4 December, with the event streamed live by top French games website, JeuxVideo.com. oOki will be there with its fingers (and wings) crossed.
