Streets of Rogue 2, the open-world sandbox RPG from developer Matt Dabrowski in partnership with publisher tinyBuild, takes additional time to sharpen its tools of destruction with a new Steam Early Access launch date on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.
Developer Matt Dabrowski and tinyBuild are committed to providing the best experience possible. Streets of Rogue 2’s new Early Access launch window provides the team additional time to polish the game further.
Eager players can expect smoother gameplay and seamless connectivity when unloading chaos with friends across the open world.
Set out on a never-ending expedition where immersion and sandbox fuse for one crazy joyride. Raise hell with a bizarre arsenal of weapons, gradually upping the chaos. Toss banana peels, rain bullet storms with pistols and machine guns or set the world ablaze with smokin’ hot flamethrowers.
Select from dozens of distinct character classes that allow the freedom to overthrow a corrupt government however you see fit. Hire money-hungry crooks to do the dirty work, summon a bloodthirsty zombie invasion, or ignore the quest and relax by the beach and catch some waves.
“The new date allows me to make the game that much better,” said Matt Dabrowski, creator of the Streets of Rogue franchise. “The new release date will also give me time to conduct a large-scale pre-release playtest. If Streets of Rogue’s history tells me anything, this should be very beneficial to development.”
Streets of Rogue 2 launches on Steam Early Access on Tuesday, October 22, 2024.

About Matt Dabrowski

Matt began his game development journey back in his teen years, creating several pre-Steam indie titles while attending school. Prior to his foray into full-time solo development, Matt had minor roles on high profile franchises like World of Warcraft and SimCity. Following the success of Streets of Rogue, Matt collaborated with publisher tinyBuild to work on the highly anticipated sequel.
