Independent developer Croteam, the creators of the Serious Sam series and The Talos Principle, and game label Devolver Digital have announced the Serious Sam Voice Pack DLC for philosophical first-person puzzler The Talos Principle. HAHAHA, April Fools’ GOT YOU!
Wait. What? Oh.
The new Serious Sam voice pack replaces the godlike voice of Elohim with that of Serious Sam as voiced by longtime voice actor John J. Dick and includes a new Serious Sam player model for use in The Talos Principle. The Serious Sam voice pack DLC for The Talos Principle is available on Steam for free until Tuesday, April 7th and then will be available for purchase for $2.99. For those gamers that don’t yet own the award-winning puzzle game, The Talos Principle is 50% off on from April 1st through April 6th as a part of Steam’s Weekend Deal promotion.
“I knew this was bound to happen,” said Sam “Serious” Stone, star of the Serious Sam series, when asked to comment on the DLC pack. “It all started when they took assets from Egypt and reused them again in this new puzzler that delayed Serious Sam 4. But hell, those crazy Croatians made me sound smart so all is forgiven.”
The Talos Principle is available now for PC, Mac, and Linux via Steam and is set to release on PlayStation 4 and Android devices later this year. For more information and updates on The Talos Principle follow @Croteam and @DevolverDigital on Twitter.
