We’re excited to announce that Sonic fans will now be able to play some of their favourite Sonic the Hedgehog titles on Apple TV for the very first time. Starting today, Sonic 1 is compatible with the Apple TV, followed on Thursday 24th with Sonic 2, and finally, with Sonic CD on March 31st.
Players who already own any or all of Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic CD on their iPhone, iPod, or iPad will be delighted to learn that they can download it onto their brand new Apple TV and rediscover it on their big screens for free. Those that don’t yet own these titles now have an additional reason to purchase one (or more) of them, as they can now be played on their iPhone, iPad, iPod, or Apple TV. All at the same time if they are an octopus.

Sonic 2 is available for iPhone, iPod, iPad, and on March 24th on Apple TV, here.
Sonic CD is available for iPhone, iPod, iPad, and on March 31st on Apple TV, here.
