Arabische Campagne voor Stronghold Crusader 2 Onthuld
Firefly Studios heeft zojuist een nieuwe video update vrijgegeven voor de Gambitious crowd funding campagne van Stronghold Crusader 2. In deze video wordt de nieuwe Arabische single-player campagne onthuld:
In Firefly’s unieke vertolking van de kruistochten in Stronghold Crusader 2 is de Arabische campagne een volledige single-player campagne waarbij de Arabische strijdmachten worden belicht. Voor het eerst in de Stronghold serie biedt de campagne een vergelijkbare speelervaring als die van de Crusader campagne. De Arabische campagne zal ongeveer een gelijk aantal missies en dezelfde speelduur bieden.
Voor de Arabische campagne nemen spelers dit keer de rol aan van de machtige legerleider Saladin. Als Saladin voer je het bevel over een leger gedreven Arabische vrijheidsstrijders en moet je na de bloederige invasie van Richard Leeuwenhart een sterk leger opbouwen, lafhartige verraders straffen en het bezit dat bruut is afgepakt door de kruisridders heroveren.
“We hope fans enjoy this twist on the standard Stronghold formula, which gives the game a sense of balance and equal attention to the Arabic side of this historic conflict”, zegt Marketing Manager Nick Tannahill. “It’s almost a shame we had to reveal this early, as it would have made a nice surprise for players, but hopefully they will still enjoy commanding the Saladin and the game’s new Arabic faction units”.
Stronghold Crusader 2 staat voor het begin van 2014 gepland en zal door Firefly zelf op PC worden uitgegeven. Het geld dat wordt opgehaald via het crowdfundingplatform Gambitious, zal worden ingezet voor de verdere ontwikkeling van de game, een gesloten beta en aanvullende content.
