Germany’s leading game developer is repositioning its communication approach. In 2018, InnoGames will increasingly aim for corporate stories and promote employer branding. There are also personnel changes: Jan Kronenberger and Dennis Schoubye joined the InnoGames PR team in November and December, respectively.
“In addition to the communication around our games, we have been progressively concentrating since last year on promoting employer branding at InnoGames and expanding the company’s visibility in media outlets with a more technical and business focus. As the biggest German game developer, we also want to share our expertise in the areas of analytics, CRM, marketing and engineering. That’s why we will be contributing even more to the discussion of digital topics with expert contributions in 2018,” says Peter Meyenburg, Head of PR.
In the course of the thematic reorientation there are also changes in personnel. Since November 1, Jan Kronenberger has been supporting the game developer as Senior PR Manager Corporate. For the last six years, Kronenberger has been responsible as PR manager and consultant for PR, public affairs and digitization strategies for start-ups, associations and members of the Bundestag.
Dennis Schoubye has been on board as senior PR manager Games & Corporate since 1 December. Schoubye previously worked at Faktor 3 as a communications consultant for Samsung. Schoubye is equipped with many years of digital and games industry experience, gained with the Quinke Networks agency and a station at Bigpoint.
The new PR team will be complemented by Esther Haal, who has been responsible for all external and internal InnoGames events since 1 June as Junior PR Manager with a focus on event management. Haal’s previous professional experience includes a position with the agency, JOKE Event AG.
Sarah Sellner continues to be Senior PR Manager Corporate at InnoGames and is currently on parental leave. The team is currently seeking a trainee to focus on the company’s social media channels.
