InnoGames hosts Game Jam in the midst of Gamescom
Today InnoGames announced to host the first ever large-scale game jam at Gamescom in Cologne: The InnoGames Jam, a 48-hour long event in the Congress Center. During the game jam, up to 300 participants from all over the world will team up and develop 75 entirely new games â from the very first idea to a playable product. The game jam starts on Wednesday, August 17 at 2pm and will end on Friday, August 19. In the afternoon that day, a jury will officially announce the winners. From now on until June 30, interested developers, game designers or artists can apply for the free submission process to become one of up to 300 participants. Those chosen to participate will receive a personal invitation via Eventbrite, where a game jam ticket can be booked. The Jam welcomes participants from all over the world and is centered on the idea of bringing more diversity to the games industry.
