CERGY-PONTOISE, FRANCE Hij is terug! De lasagne-etende koning van de luiheid, Garfield, heeft eindelijk een manier gevonden om van die overtollige calorieën af te komen in Garfield’s Wild Ride. Deze gestoorde 2D-platformgame is vanaf nu te downloaden op smartphones en tablets. De game is verkrijgbaar voor €0.89 in de onderstaande stores:
Helaas is al dit rennen nog steeds niet goed voor zijn taille. Alles speelt zich namelijk af in zijn dromen. Garfield blijkt zich in zijn dromen namelijk in te beelden dat hij zo licht als een veertje door een wereld raast vol maffe bonussen en gekke power-ups. Hoe raar het ook klinkt, in zijn dromen kan Garfield de zwaartekracht trotseren.
Garfield’s Wild Ride biedt toegankelijke gameplay voor iedereen. Garfield is te besturen met slechts één vinger. Trotseer verraderlijke obstakels in 45 verschillende missies verdeelt over 5 verschillende werelden. Verbeter je spel met grappige bonussen zoals het berijden van een gigantische Odie of het racen op een skateboard. Daarnaast is het mogelijk om Garfield uit te dossen in de meest vreemde kostuums. Van Kerstman tot astronaut, niets is te gek. Via in-app aankopen is het mogelijk om extra kostuums en munten te kopen. Deze munten zijn uit te geven aan extra items.
Garfield’s Wild Ride wordt uitgegeven door NAMCO BANDAI Games Europe en Anuman Interactive (onder het Microïds – Games for All label) en is speelbaar op iPhone, iPad en Android apparaten. De game zal in een later stadium ook verkrijgbaar zijn voor PC en Mac.
