Riders of Icarus: Manastone Battles

In Riders of Icarus, players can always pick a PvP fight in the Exarahn Badlands. With numerous roaming groups of battle-ready Riders, it’s a land of darkness where only the strong survive. Twice a week, players can compete in Manastone Battles, the ultimate test of individual strength and group cohesion, where players will have the chance to prove themselves and compete to bring their groups fame and fortune.

Manastone Battles occur twice per week on a set schedule and are announced to the entire server. After a countdown, the Manastone will appear in a random location within Exarahn Badlands. When the Manastone spawns, it’s a free-for-all. Various Guild Alliances and the Militia will fight to see who can loot the Manastone and return it the Vantara Manastone Oracle.  Much like “capture-the-flag”, success will depend on Alliance or Militia members working together as a team to secure the ultimate victory.

Once a player loots the Manastone, they receive a huge defensive buff. But with that incredible power comes some limitations—players carrying the Manastone can’t mount up, use items or attack. The Carrier is defenseless! The Carrier will be dependent upon their Alliance (or Militia) teammates to keep them alive until the stone can be delivered and victory is achieved.

If the Carrier dies, the Manastone is dropped and can be looted again by another player. If the Rider is intercepted and taken down too close to town, the Manastone will spawn at a random location instead.

Once a player manages to return the Manastone to the Oracle, that player’s Alliance or Militia wins! Winning teams have access to a variety of rewards, including a Guild-exclusive mount that can carry multiple Riders!

To participate in Manastone Battles, you will either need to be in a Guild Alliance (requires rank 3 guild) or join the Militia. PvP is for experienced Riders, so your character will need to be level 28 or higher to enter the Exarahn Badlands.
